Swrve - Content designer

November 2017 - March 2019

Swrve real-time marketing automation increases customer engagement through dynamic campaigns that deliver relevant, personalised messages in micro-moments that matter across mobile, email, web, TV and emerging digital channels.

As part of Swrve’s design team, I assisted in creating assets ranging from digital to print. I led the design and build of illustrations that were used companywide. During my time at Swrve the company went through a full rebrand which had a fresh new look and feel that aligned with Swrve’s dashboard. The rebrand involved a new website, colour palette, design process, etc.

Some of the main tasks I carried out included:

  • Creating logos and app screens for various industries (Retail, Telco, Finance, Games etc.) to show different types of messaging tailored to existing and potential customers

  • Redesigning slide decks for sales and marketing and other material for presentations

  • Designing and creating illustrative elements

  • Video editing and animation

  • Designing and preparing documents for print and liaising with print companies

  • Providing marketing with relevant assets for social and campaigning purposes

  • Updating and maintaining Swrve’s website

Designcore IT Carlow - Design intern

July 2015 - september 2015

designcore is a design led research hub aimed at bridging the gap between design research and industry.

After completing my BA in product design innovation I was awarded an internship with designcore, working first-hand on team based projects which delivered tangible outputs for clients. This provided me with insight into the value of professionalism, teamwork, and working to a deadline. Sketched concepts were put forward to the client. Upon approval of a concept to develop, I used visualisation packages such as Solidworks, Keyshot and Adobe software to produce rendered images of the selected concept and presented directly to the client the summation of the project. Upon approval I then created models using designcore’s ZCorp 3D printer.
